The Peri-Operative Unit at Canberra Hospital delivers care across the full surgical journey, incorporating the Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) Unit, Operating Theatres spanning a diverse range of surgical specialties, the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), Extended Day Surgery Unit (EDSU), and several specialised procedural and invasive service areas. As the Perioperative Resource Manager, you will be an integral member of the Nursing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Nursing, Perioperative Unit. This influential position is responsible for the effective management of the unit’s physical and financial resources, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality perioperative services while supporting excellence in patient care. Working collaboratively with clinical and operational leaders, you will contribute to the strategic direction and day-to-day management of one of the hospital’s largest clinical areas. Your leadership will help drive safe, efficient, and sustainable operations, support workforce planning, and ensure resources are aligned to meet the demands of a continuously evolving surgical service.
