We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to lead clinical education and foster best practice within our forensic mental health inpatient units. Working within a therapeutic secure environment, the Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for clinical teaching and the ongoing development of nursing practice. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Nursing and working closely with the Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will lead and deliver a range of education initiatives designed to strengthen workforce capability and support high-quality patient care. In this rewarding role, you will provide education both within and external to the Division, supporting clinical education programs, preceptorship, mandatory skills assessments, and competency assessment processes. You will play a key role in mentoring and supporting nurses, promoting evidence-based practice, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence. You will also be actively involved in professional development and clinical supervision, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to multidisciplinary team processes that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
