Registered Nurse - Observation Unit, Nights

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care including direct patient support, education, and care transitions. The registered nurse (RN) will support professional practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards. Key responsibilities include

• coordinating patient care
• mentoring and leading through formal and informal roles
• delegating tasks based on skill level and patient acuity
• participating in quality improvement and committee activities

Qualifications include

• a baccalaureate nursing degree from an accredited program or relevant RN experience
• current RN license in applicable states
• excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills
• ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing situations
• Certifications such as BLS are required depending on the worksite.
  
  

Compensation is based on experience, education, and dedication, with benefits including health plans, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. The role is full-time, night shifts, every other weekend, with potential for TN sponsorship.
