Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Services Unit

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse providing direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across settings, supporting professional practice.
• Implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care per the Mayo Nursing Care Model.
• Support leadership activities such as preceptorship, informal leadership, and quality improvement projects.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, experience, and resources.
• Maintain excellent communication, mentoring, and participation in committees or projects.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a nursing program; RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred: One year of RN or LPN experience in applicable care settings.
• Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
