Role: Registered Nurse (RN) providing specialized orthopedic patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include: coordinating comprehensive nursing care for adult and adolescent orthopedic patients, including those undergoing joint replacements, reconstructive procedures, sports medicine, and oncology. Key duties encompass promoting patient independence, preventing complications, managing pain, patient education, discharge planning, and working within a multidisciplinary team. The RN supports professional practice, delegates tasks appropriately, and demonstrates leadership through mentorship and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications: graduation from an accredited nursing program, with at least one year of RN experience. Must hold a valid RN license, BLS certification, and meet state-specific licensure requirements. Preferred skills include excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer proficiency. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
