Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana is looking for an experienced RN to join our Labor, Delivery & Postpartum (LDRP) team.

Our team cares for more than 650 births each year and serves as the primary high-risk delivery site for Northwest Montana. You’ll care for patients across the full LDRP continuum—from antepartum and labor through delivery, recovery and postpartum. And when a patient or newborn needs a higher level of care, Logan Health Children's and our NICU are right on the same medical campus.

  • $41.78–$73.31/hour based on relevant experience +$5.00/hour night shift differential, and $2.25 weekend shift differential

What You'll Do

As an LDRP RN, you will:

  • Provide individualized nursing care to antepartum, laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns.
  • Assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Recognize and respond quickly to changes in maternal and newborn condition.
  • Participate in deliveries and provide care throughout the labor and delivery process.
  • Train to circulate for C-sections with support from our OB surgical technicians.
  • Educate patients and families throughout their experience.
  • Collaborate closely with providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while following safety, infection prevention and HIPAA standards.


What You'll Bring

  • Current Montana RN license or compact RN license authorized to practice in Montana.
  • Previous Labor & Delivery or LDRP experience required.
  • Only directly relevant obstetric nursing experience will be considered for experience-based placement.
  • BSN preferred.
  • ACLS and NRP within six months of hire.
  • STABLE and EFM within one year of hire.
  • RQI Provider BLS within seven days of hire or before providing independent patient care.
  • Additional certifications as required for the role.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of the care team.

Shift:

Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
