Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to trauma and step-down patients. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs and adjust as clinically indicated. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care. Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document per policy. Utilize advanced critical thinking to identify and respond to emergent situations. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and follow-up care. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities. Qualifications Required: Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license. Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN). Current Basic Life Support (BLS AHA or Red Cross) certification. Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care preferred; LTACH, home health, or rehab considered). Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Must live within a 30 to 35 mile commuting distance of Bradenton, FL. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 6 months of hire). National certification in critical care or progressive care nursing. Previous experience in trauma, PCU, or ICU settings. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay with experience-based progression.
