Registered Nurse - Vascular Surgery/Medical PCU - RN

Role Overview: This registered nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in a 29-bed Vascular Surgery/Medical Progressive Care unit, caring for adult patients post-vascular surgery, with medical conditions requiring cardiac monitoring, and postpartum patients with NICU babies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions.
• Manage complex symptoms, wound care, cardiac IV medications, and discharge planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support professional nursing practice, demonstrate leadership through mentorship, quality improvement, and committee participation.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, experience, acuity, and resources.
• Possibly drive personal vehicle as part of role responsibilities.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Current RN license, BLS certification, and additional state or specialty certifications as required.
