Registered Nurse - Vascular Center Wound/Thrombophilia

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care at a specialized vascular center, supporting patient care, education, and care transitions. They lead nursing activities within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, ensuring quality care through planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct patient care and support patient/family education
• Lead and delegate nursing tasks based on skill level and patient needs
• Participate in quality improvement, mentorship, and committee activities
• Support professional nursing standards and practice across settings
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience
• Vascular experience preferred within the last five years
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and work flexible hours
  
  

Licenses & Certifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and any required state or specialty certifications prior to start.

Additional Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt role with a competitive salary range. The RN will work Monday to Friday, with variable day shifts, and may require driving their personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
