About the Role We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Physicians to join our dynamic team of Respiratory Medicine . You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent inpatient and outpatient care. This role reports to the Service Clinical Director, Respiratory Services and is part of the Cardiovascular Directorate at Te Toka Tumai. In this role you will be responsible to provide clinical expertise across the speciality of General Respiratory and basic Sleep Medicine, participating in the delivery of excellent patient care, research and regional expertise in line with the organisations vision and values. The primary area of sub-speciality experience and training which would be valuable to the Service is Interstitial Lung Disease. Competency in Pleural Disease and associated procedures is required. Interest in Lung Cancer, Tuberculosis management and Respiratory Physiology in addition to the above would be of additional value. Our department includes Respiratory and Sleep Laboratories and undertakes clinical and industry-sponsored research. Auckland is a fantastic place to live and raise a family.
