Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-quality restaurant concept operating within the fine dining and casual dining sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, developing the front-of-house team, and ensuring the restaurant achieves its operational and financial targets.
This role requires a hands-on manager with strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, and previous experience working within premium, fine dining, or high-end casual dining environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food, beverage, service, presentation, and guest experience.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop the front-of-house team.
- Manage restaurant supervisors, waiters, hosts, bartenders, runners, and other service staff.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure the team understands service standards and business priorities.
- Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor during service.
- Build relationships with guests and manage VIP customers where required.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
- Monitor reservations, table management, capacity, and guest flow.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure appropriate manpower levels.
- Monitor labour costs, operational expenses, and restaurant profitability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and average spend.
- Manage stock control and support food and beverage inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing, and company standards.
- Maintain restaurant SOPs and ensure all team members follow company procedures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training requirements.
- Work closely with senior management on promotions, events, menu launches, and business development initiatives.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident, energetic, and highly visible Restaurant Manager who enjoys being on the floor and engaging with both guests and employees.
They will understand the balance between the attention to detail and service expectations of fine dining and the pace, volume, and commercial focus of premium casual dining.
The candidate should have a strong passion for hospitality, excellent leadership qualities, and a proven track record of building high-performing restaurant teams while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Salary budget: 15-18,000 AED per month + medical + visa + flights + service charge + tips
