About the Role
Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to improve how robots perform in real-world facilities.
What You'll Do
Orchestrate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization systems, and machine learning pipelines across different platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling frontends, perception systems, and optimizing compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across firmware, hardware integration, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to solve technical challenges.
Collaborate with teammates to design, build, and ship systems for production robotics.
Deploy software at customer facilities and help ensure it performs reliably in real-world conditions.
What We're Looking For
1 to 3 years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems, with hands-on experience shipping software for production robotic or other physical systems.
Strong programming fundamentals and proficiency in Python; experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.
Experience with ROS, C/C++, Docker, Kubernetes, and systemd is relevant to the role.
Understanding of full-system robotics and hardware/software integration.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Experience in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment and comfort shifting focus as priorities change.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $130,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available; candidates must be eligible for a visa transfer and not require new sponsorship.
