SailPoint IdentityIQ / IAM Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced IAM / SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), application onboarding, access governance, and IAM automation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Validate functional and non-functional requirements for onboarding business applications into the IAM solution.
• Ensure implementations align with business IT principles, IAM architecture, standards, and security practices.
• Align with architecture teams on target solutions and integration designs.
• Support OPAL managed-service deployment and integration design where applicable.
• Configure and implement application onboarding using standard SailPoint functionality.
• Own application onboarding end-to-end, from intake through acceptance.
• Design and implement workflows, rules, policies, forms, roles, and certifications.
• Drive standardization and automation of application onboarding.
• Leverage available CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the SailPoint platform team.
• Coordinate and validate implementation of designed IAM capabilities.
• Participate actively in Scrum and SAFe events.
• Manage application stakeholders and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities for improving IAM processes, technology, automation, and onboarding standards.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of professional IAM experience
• Strong hands-on development experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Deep knowledge of IGA
• Experience with application onboarding and SailPoint workflows
• Strong experience with RBAC
• Experience with ABAC; PBAC is a strong advantage
• Experience with access certification processes and enforcement
• Strong knowledge of Identity Lifecycle Management – Joiner, Mover, Leaver
• Complex Workflows, Rules, Policies & Forms development
• Strong hands-on CI/CD automation experience
• DevOps and Agile/Scrum experience; SAFe is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills

Highly Preferred

• Open Policy Agent (OPA) / OPAL or similar policy-engine technologies
• Experience with policy-based access control
• Experience defining standard application onboarding patterns
• Experience identifying improvements in IAM processes and technology

Integration Experience

Experience integrating SailPoint with:

• LDAP
• REST / SOAP
• SCIM
• Databases
• Okta
• Workday
• SAP / SAP Suite
• SaaS applications
