About Concord Visa
Concord is solving a key problem for scaling companies that hire global talent on work Visas with their own platform to replace slow & messy email chains and clunky shared drives.
Concord built its own platform to replace all of that: clients press one button and get a visa assessment within 24 hours across Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada and the UK and applicants get real-time visibility into their case, and an experienced legal team focuses on the high-judgement work that moves cases forward.
Concord started as an in-house solution inside Crimson Education after seeing the opportunity that the big global providers couldn’t keep pace with a fast-moving company.
Concord spun out and launched publicly in 2025, and today runs independently with its own engineering, marketing and go-to-market teams across New Zealand, the US, Australia, Canada and London with the backing of Crimson.
Why Concord
Proven traction. 3,000+ visas processed for clients including Andreessen Horowitz, Silicon Quantum Computing, Halter, Tracksuit, Partly, Sydekick Robotics, OpenStar and Zuru. Seven-figure revenue in year one, more than doubled in year two.
Startup pace, without the funding risk. Concord is backed by the highly successful Crimson Education; a profitable business themselves so this feels like a startup but with financial security.
Real equity. Every employee holds equity through the Crimson Education group ESOP, and Crimson’s current fundraise is expected to lift its value materially.
A ground-floor opportunity. Australia is Concord’s next big growth market and you’ll be in a key sales role early on, with a genuine path to a Country Manager / GM role for a high performer.
Balanced, high-trust culture. Driven and outcomes-focused, without expecting your personal life to suffer. Genuine flexibility while still maintaining an ambitious and high performing culture
Great leadership and growth. Report directly to a calm, considered and mature CEO. Plus a $1,500 annual learning budget, radical-candour feedback and access to opportunities across Crimson Education.
The Role
This is an end to end sales role where you will nurture outbound and inbound leads, own a pipeline and be measured on revenue.
You will be an expert in the HR space and be able to talk to People leaders on their level, understand their problem spaces & sell through a consultative approach. You will be active in industry events, identify partnership opportunities and leverage your network rather than be tied to a desk doing high volume cold calls everyday.
Sales have been founder-led to date, so you’ll take over a very successful pipeline and have a big say in shaping the playbook rather than be given one to follow. You won’t have direct reports initially but for Senior candidates there is a genuine path to grow this role to a Country Manager role with broader P&L responsibilities.
What you’ll own
Outbound and pipeline: Identify Australian startups & scaleups that are hiring internationally or expanding into the US, Canada or the UK, and reach their founders and People leaders through thoughtful outbound, VC introductions, meetings and event follow-ups.
Closing deals: Manage opportunities from first conversation through to close.
Your CRM: Keep HubSpot current, record your conversations and maintain a forecast the wider team can rely on.
Partnerships: Build relationships with VCs, accelerators, startup hubs and community groups, and explore co-marketing partnerships with companies across HR and global mobility.
Events and market presence: Attend the events that matter, work with marketing to run Concord’s own, and build your own profile so that founders and People leaders know Concord before they need it.
Market intelligence: Map the competitors, events, communities and opportunities that matter in Australia, and share what you learn with the wider team.
A better product: You’re close to Concord’s ideal customer. Your HR or recruitment experience will feed directly into how the product evolves.
Six months in, success looks like
A strong pipeline of Australian startups hiring internationally or expanding offshore, deals closed against target, active partnerships producing warm introductions, and a much clearer picture of the Australian market need and want from us.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of hands-on experience in end to end sales roles within HR or global mobility / immigration. This is a must have, while we value strong Sales people we do want prior experience selling to HR & P&C Leaders. We are open to people from HR backgrounds that want to get into sales, especially if you feel you have a strong network to leverage.
Startup experience: time inside a startup/scale up or smaller, earlier stage businesses. It can be quite a different pace and experience to bigger & more established companies.
Comfort opening cold conversations: whether from outbound sales, headhunting, sourcing passive candidates or building a talent pipeline from scratch.
Excellent communication: strong written outreach and verbal skills, whether the audience is a nervous applicant, a time-poor CEO or a room that knows nothing about immigration.
Events with purpose: experience running careers events, meetups, employer brand or community programmes & not just turning up to them.
The right mindset: energised by pace and ambiguity, wired for outcomes, and curious enough to experiment with new tools and challenge existing processes.
Interview process:
Call with Mitch - talk through the role, Concord and your background.
Intro call (30 min) - With our CEO Kevin, a mutual fit chat.
Interview (60 min) - a deep-dive on your experience, Concord’s plans and fit.
Work sample (90 min) - a realistic task, presented via a recorded Loom.
References/Offer, then a call to talk numbers and start dates.
Concord welcomes applications regardless of ethnicity, gender identity, disability, age, sexual orientation or any other characteristic – and for the right person, they’ll sponsor your visa.
