About the Company

Sumec is a globally trusted enterprise with 40+ years of expertise in supply chain operations, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy solutions. As we accelerate our expansion in the U.S. — one of the world’s largest and most dynamic markets — we’re seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to drive regional revenue growth, build strategic client partnerships, and establish our brand presence across key industry sectors.

About the Role

Based in New York/Chicago/Houston (Primary Hubs) | Los Angeles/Dallas (Secondary Locations) – Flexible Hybrid Work Model You will own the end-to-end B2B sales lifecycle across the U.S., developing and executing market penetration strategies for industrial, sustainable energy, and supply chain optimization sectors. This senior role demands strategic territory management, C-level client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams to deliver exceptional business outcomes in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute data-driven sales plans to capture market share, meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets (500k–1M+ in annual contract value)
  • Prospect and acquire enterprise clients (Fortune 1000 companies, mid-market enterprises, and government contractors) through consultative selling, leveraging industry networks, digital sales tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io), and targeted outreach campaigns
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-suite decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, Procurement Directors) and key stakeholders, aligning Sumec’s solutions with clients’ operational efficiency and ESG goals
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis (competitor intelligence, regulatory updates, sector trends) to identify high-growth opportunities in renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain resilience — with focus on regional strengths (e.g., Houston’s energy sector, Chicago’s industrial hub)
  • Collaborate with Sumec’s global teams (China headquarters & Americas regional office) to ensure seamless cross-border client onboarding, technical support, and contract fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management (CRM hygiene > 95% data accuracy), and performance reporting, providing actionable insights to global leadership
  • Represent the company at key U.S. industry events (e.g., CES in Las Vegas, GreenBiz in Phoenix, SupplyChain USA in Chicago) to enhance brand visibility and cultivate strategic partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field (MBA is a strong advantage)
  • 1–7 years of proven B2B sales experience in the U.S., with a track record of closing high-value deals ($200k+ contract value) in industrial, clean energy, or supply chain sectors
  • Deep familiarity with U.S. business practices, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCPA compliance, export controls, ESG reporting standards), and procurement processes (public & private sector)
  • Fluent written and verbal English (mandatory); proficiency in Spanish is a highly desirable plus (for Latinx market expansion)
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce is essential) and digital sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo)
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and cross-cultural communication skills — ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across time zones
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient, with a proactive approach to market development and client retention
  • Valid right to work in the U.S. (sponsorship available for exceptional candidates with specialized expertise)
