Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect specializing in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development to design scalable, high-performance technical solutions and guide development teams in modern SAP technologies and best practices.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

· At least 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP, including a minimum of 4 years of SAP S/4HANA ABAP experience.

· At least 6 years of experience in development, configuration, solution evaluation, validation, and deployment.

· At least 6 years of experience in SAP Business Process Consulting, problem definition, architecture, design, and process detailing.

· Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA technologies, including:

o CDS Views (Core Data Services)

o AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)

o RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

o OData services V2/V4

o SAP Fiori and UI5 integration

· Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Clean Core principles and upgrade-safe extension strategies, including in-app, developer, and side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP.

· Experience in technical design and development for SAP S/4HANA implementations.

· Extensive experience designing and developing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW objects).

· Strong knowledge of HANA Code Pushdown techniques and SAP HANA performance optimization.

· Experience managing code reviews, optimizing performance, and conducting technical root-cause analysis.

· Ability to bridge functional requirements with technical solutions and guide development teams.

· Knowledge of Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.

· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

· Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing domain.

· SAP product certifications, particularly SAP S/4 Developer certification.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design scalable, high-performance SAP S/4HANA technical solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and other S/4HANA-specific technologies.

2. Define and enforce SAP Clean Core standards to minimize technical debt and ensure custom developments remain upgrade-safe, leveraging on-stack and side-by-side extensibility through SAP BTP.

3. Guide the development team in HANA Code Pushdown techniques to maximize database performance and conduct technical root-cause analysis for system performance issues.

4. Oversee the development of OData V2/V4 services and SAP Fiori applications to ensure a modern user experience and seamless system integration through APIs.

5. Manage RICEFW development objects, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to technical standards and performance optimization practices.

6. Translate functional requirements into robust technical designs and provide architecture guidance throughout development, testing, deployment, and implementation.
