We are looking for a Science Coordinator for an international school in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025. About the school This is an international school located in Haidian. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and US Common core to its students in elementary and middle school, and US Common core, AP, IGCSE and A-Level in high school. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of science to primary school students utilizing US Common Core and next generation science and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Develop hands-on experiments, lab activities, and digital resources to enhance student engagement Support teachers in lesson planning, differentiation, and assessment strategies tailored to diverse learners Oversee science laboratories, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and risk assessment protocols Monitor student progress through data analysis, implementing interventions for underperforming students Stay updated on advancements in science education research and technology tools Prepare reports on departmental performance, student outcomes, and resource needs for leadership Communicate with parents about curriculum updates, student achievements, and science events Job requirements Bachelor degree or above in the related subject Teaching certificate Three or more years teaching experience in the subject Excellent communications skills Salary and benefits Annual Salary 380,000 to 480,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 8,800 RMB or free on-campus lodging Monthly leadership bonus is 3,000 RMB Paid summer and winter holiday and public holidays Contract fulfillment bonus International cover health Insurance for teachers and their dependents Social Insurance & Medical Insurance Flight to school from point of origin and relocation allowance Visa fees are covered by the school Annual flight allowance 3 meals free for school days Education for dependents (5-18 years) Professional development opportunities Rich staff activities, clubs.
