What you need to know about this position:Lead through service. Be physically present on the floor, accessible, engaged, and consistent. Model servant leadership so that it cascades through every level of the night shift organization. Your success is measured by the growth of the people around you.

  • Coach and develop line supervisors and leaders in IL6S work processes. Observe coaching conversations, offer real-time feedback, and model what strong IL6S-grounded leadership looks like in action. Build continuous improvement capability on nights through direct coaching, not by waiting for day-shift support functions to bridge the gap.
  • Perform LSW Gemba to coach and build capability. Execute structured Leader Standard Work Gemba walks across all three lines on nights. Use these as coaching opportunities to develop leaders in standard work adherence, problem-solving, and the daily management system. Gemba is not an audit; it is a development conversation.
  • Explicitly develop core and support employees in the 10+5 framework. Own the development of night shift employees through the 10 Focus Areas and 5 Leadership Capabilities. Ensure development plans are active, coaching conversations are happening, and capability is growing measurably across the shift.

  • Build community and engagement. Ensure night shift employees feel connected to the plant's Vision, CBN, culture, direction, and leadership team regardless of their schedule. Drive engagement through consistent recognition, open communication, and genuine investment in people.
