Algorithm Engineer (all levels) As a Senior Algorithm Engineer, you’ll be a cornerstone of our core team, building robot guidance and inspection applications for manufacturing and maintenance. You’ll shape our entire technology stack, crafting high-performance algorithms for 3D data generation, developing AI-driven guidance systems, and enabling industrial robots to navigate complex, moving environments with precision. Key Responsibilities · Design and implement algorithms for diverse robotic tasks in dynamic settings · Develop robust, production-ready software for industrial environments · Collaborate across the development lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment · Optimize real-time performance for embedded systems Requirements: Technical Expertise · Advanced C++ skills with a focus on performance optimization · Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, geometry, and optimization · Domain knowledge in at least one of: robot kinematics, 3D sensing, or Lie theory · Experience writing high-quality, well-tested, performance-critical software · Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time constraints · MS or Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related engineering field · Ideal candidates will have 5+yrs of full-time industry experience beyond internships or academic work Bonus Qualifications · Hands-on experience with industrial robotics or robot programming · Proficiency in CUDA/GPU programming for real-time systems · Knowledge of event-based vision systems or neural networks for 3D geometry · Background in software quality practices, DevOps, or network protocols · Proven track record delivering commercial robotics systems Mindset · Thrives in a fast-paced startup, embracing exploration and iteration · Passionate about transforming industrial automation with innovative vision systems · Comfortable with in-office collaboration (5 days/week in Campbell, CA) What We Offer · Competitive Compensation : $180,000–$250,000 base salary (depending on experience, skills, and qualifications), plus meaningful equity · Comprehensive Benefits : Top-tier medical, dental, and vision plans (Kaiser Permanente, Anthem), 401(k), and flexible PTO · Prime Location : Our Campbell, CA office is steps from a scenic bike path connecting Los Gatos to downtown Campbell · Impact and Growth : Join a small, high-ownership team where your work directly shapes the future of robotics · Relocation Assistance Our Culture We’re a dynamic team that values technical excellence, initiative, and adaptability.
