You will work on state-of-the-art power management technology alongside a team with hands-on expertise in power electronics, IC design, and semiconductor process development. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on circuit design and close collaboration across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for IC development projects and design activities.
- Design integrated power converters and monitoring circuits.
- Design analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.
- Drive and coordinate IC design and layout activities, working closely with design and layout engineers.
- Simulate and verify circuits using transistor-level and system-level simulation tools.
- Contribute to silicon validation, characterization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineers across IC design, power electronics, semiconductor processes, and system development.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant IC design experience.
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with power converters, such as linear regulators, switched-inductor DC-DC converters, and switched-capacitor DC-DC converters.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing integrated power converters, gate drivers, and PWM control circuits.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in designing analog circuits, including comparators, amplifiers, current sensors, temperature sensors, bandgap references, and related building blocks.
- Experience with IC design environments and EDA tools, such as Cadence (preferred), Synopsys, and/or Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with technical leadership, project leadership, and/or technology leadership in previous IC development projects is a plus.
- Experience with power management ICs (PMICs) and DC-DC converter applications is a plus.
- Experience with PCB design, assembly, and experimental/silicon validation is a plus.
Personal Competencies
- Based in Copenhagen or within reasonable commuting distance. Lotus Microsystems will support relocation for the right candidate, where needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international team.
- A creative, curious, and innovative mindset, with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and champion new ideas, actively contribute to brainstorming, and present technical concepts clearly.
