About the Role
Join a hardware team developing chips for a new computing approach in the AI and machine learning sector. In this senior role, you will design and validate analog and mixed-signal circuits that support the development of future silicon products.
What You'll Do
Design analog and mixed-signal building blocks, including ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, oscillators, high-speed dividers, and serializer/deserializers.
Own circuit blocks across the process from architecture and schematics through layout, tape-out, and DRC, ERC, and LVS verification.
Complete hands-on layout and simulations using Cadence, including parasitic extraction, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
Support lab testing and validation with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Collaborate with IC, systems, physics, and algorithms teams to bring circuit concepts to silicon.
What We're Looking For
Three to six years of analog and mixed-signal IC design experience using CMOS technology, with an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on analog or mixed-signal design.
Multiple tape-out experiences, ideally using FinFET or 28nm/65nm process nodes.
Experience designing one or more of the following: ADCs, PLLs, oscillators, regulators, or high-speed SerDes.
Broad experience across multiple circuit types, including mixed-signal design, and willingness to take on hands-on work outside a narrow specialty.
Fluency with Cadence Virtuoso, PEX, Monte Carlo and corner analysis, plus Python or C.
Ability to perform small-signal and feedback analysis, including closed-loop gain, loading effects, and Miller effects.
Hands-on layout experience and experience validating circuits in the lab.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $160,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid, with three days per week on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
