Job Description
As an Application Engineer at Robinhood, you will be part of the Corporate Systems team, focusing on maintaining secure and reliable systems that support employees across the company. This role involves managing identity systems, endpoint devices, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with Security, IT, and Engineering partners. You will be responsible for building automation to streamline processes and enhancing development workflows using AI-assisted tools. The position requires in-person attendance at the Menlo Park, CA office at least three days a week.
Requirements
- You have experience as a Systems, Site Reliability, Infrastructure, or related engineer, typically with 5+ years in similar environments.
- You have hands-on experience managing macOS or Windows devices using modern endpoint management tools.
- You are familiar with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Gemini.
- You have experience coding or scripting in languages such as Python, Swift, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- You approach problems methodically, work well independently or with others, and focus on improving employee-facing systems.
Responsibilities
- You manage endpoint devices, identity systems, Okta, Google Cloud infrastructure, and Google Workspace to maintain secure and reliable operations.
- You design and build tools based on internal requirements to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- You develop automation for device, account, and identity lifecycle management processes.
- You support engineering teams by troubleshooting system issues and resolving escalations.
- You review write and code, write clear documentation, and follow established engineering practices.
