The Private Banking & Select Investment teams are structured to provide regulated advice on financial services and investment products tailored to meet long-term investment needs of the clients within the segment. The International team Providing specialist support for clients with international banking needs, facilitating global referrals, cross-border solutions and access to expertise across Santander's international network.
THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
The PB & Select International Team are looking for a Senior Business Support role based out of London Triton Square.
To successful candidate will provide high-quality business support across the International Retail Team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, effective operational delivery and solid stakeholder engagement. A key requirement of the role is fluency in Spanish and English, enabling effective communication with customers, colleagues and stakeholders across Santander UK and the wider Santander Group.

Manage customer onboarding, referral and servicing activities for UK and international customers, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the onboarding journey, providing support in both Spanish and English.
Verify customer documentation and ensure compliance with AML, risk and regulatory requirements.
Build relationships with customers, branches, Select teams and Santander Group stakeholders across multiple business areas and teams.
Support complex customer cases, including escalations, underwriting appeals and onboarding exceptions.
Monitor and manage customer cases to agreed service levels while maintaining operational excellence.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance customer journeys and service delivery.
Support wider International Retail, Wealth Propositions and Client Journey activities in line with business priorities.

Professional Experience:
Experience delivering high-quality customer service within a financial services, banking or regulated environment (Required)
Experience managing customer onboarding, case management or customer servicing activities (Required)
Experience working with risk, compliance, AML or customer verification processes (Required)
Experience supporting international customers (Preferred)
Experience working with Santander systems, processes or retail banking operations (Preferred)
Education:
Professional qualifications or training relevant to Banking, Financial Services or Customer Service (Preferred)
Languages:
Fluent English and Spanish (Required)
Hard Skills:
Customer onboarding, referral management and customer servicing expertise (Required)
Knowledge of AML, risk, compliance and document verification processes (Required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Required)
Knowledge of Partenon, NeoCRM and other Santander retail banking systems (Preferred)
Experience producing reports and operational documentation (Preferred)
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences (Required)
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities (Required)

Salary Range:
£38,652.00 - £57,978.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
