Job Title: Senior Database Architect Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance database systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including Elastic Search, and will be responsible for ensuring optimal database performance and integrity. Key Responsibility: 1. Design and implement database schemas to ensure optimal structure and performance for both relational and non-relational databases. 2. Develop and execute performance tuning strategies to enhance database efficiency and resource management. 3. Utilize RDBMS and NoSQL databases effectively, including integration with Elastic Search, to enhance data retrieval capabilities. 4. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data manipulation and retrieval. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to maintain performance and data integrity. 6. Develop and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity and ensure business continuity. 7. Maintain thorough documentation of database architecture, designs, procedures, and best practices to support ongoing development and compliance. 8. Collaborate with development teams to support application design and data modeling, ensuring alignment between database structure and application requirements. 9. Implement database security measures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and safeguard sensitive information. 10. Analyze database performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements. 11. Lead database architecture projects to align with organizational strategy and technology goals. 12. Mentor and guide junior database team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing. Head Count: 1 Knowledge: Expertise in RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)technologies, strong SQL skills, schema design principles, cloud database services, database management tools, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Attitude: Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in database systems with at least 3+ years of proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role.
