Senior DevOps Architect

Job Title: Senior DevOps Architect Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior DevOps Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure as code, and automation, with expertise in Linux systems and networking to enhance our software development and deployment processes. Key Responsibility: 1. Design and manage cloud-based infrastructures using AWS services to ensure optimal performance and security. 2. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to automate resource provisioning and management. 3. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Actions to streamline the software release process. 4. Utilize Python and Bash scripting to automate redundant operational tasks and improve efficiency across development and operations teams. 5. Provide in-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems to support application deployment and system management. 6. Apply networking concepts to design secure and efficient VPC architectures, including the setup and management of Security Groups. 7. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to promote a DevOps culture and ensure seamless application deployment and monitoring. 8. Implement and manage centralized logging and monitoring solutions using the ELK stack and CloudWatch metrics to enhance visibility into application performance and infrastructure health. 9. Integrate security best practices into the DevOps process to safeguard applications and data in the cloud. 10. Develop strategies for continuous improvement of DevOps practices to align with company objectives and industry best practices. 11. Manage financial resources effectively to optimize infrastructure costs and maximize ROI. 12. Lead and mentor the DevOps team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Head Count: 1 Knowledge: Strong expertise in AWS services, infrastructure as code, Linux operating systems, and networking concepts. Skills: Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash), CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud infrastructure management. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in DevOps with at least 3 years of proven experience as a DevOps Architect or similar role with a focus on AWS cloud services.
