This executive role carries full lifecycle profit-and-loss (P&L) accountability—from advanced development, complex certification, and industrialization through high-rate production, airline entry-into-service (EIS), and aftermarket sustainment. You will lead a high-performing team of Program Directors and Program Managers while acting as the executive bridge connecting global commercial airline customers, major airframe OEMs, engineering, supply chain, quality, and plant operations. Core Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy & Executive Governance: Define and execute long-term product and program roadmaps aligned with enterprise financial targets, capacity constraints, and key customer commitments. Lead integrated business reviews, program milestone tollgates, and recovery task forces. P&L & Commercial Management: Own multi-million-dollar portfolio P&L, including margin realization, Estimates at Completion (EAC), Estimates to Complete (ETC), revenue forecasts, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics. Oversee commercial claims, Contract Change Notices (CCNs), scope control, and margin recovery initiatives. Lifecycle Program Delivery: Drive disciplined execution across the full development curve: technical design freezes, regulatory certification, First Article Inspections (FAI), production ramp-up, and fleet sustainment. Customer & OEM Partnership: Serve as the executive escalation lead and primary relationship owner for airline buyers and airframe OEMs. Partner with Commercial and Capture teams on major RFPs, proposal pricing models, and new platform integration pursuits. Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) spanning Engineering, Certification, Operations, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Customer Support. Resolve cross-site bottlenecks and align resources against tight delivery schedules. People Leadership & Culture: Build, mentor, and elevate a world-class program management office. Foster a culture of accountability, operational curiosity, transparent risk escalation, and disciplined continuous improvement. Requirements Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline required; Master’s/MBA preferred. Experience: 15+ years of progressively responsible aerospace manufacturing or systems integration experience, with substantial executive leadership focused on commercial aircraft interiors (e.g., seating, monuments, structures, or complex cabin systems). Commercial & Financial Mastery: Proven track record running large-scale program P&L, contract baseline negotiations, EAC/EVM governance, and multi-site budget forecasting. OEM & Airline Exposure: Direct background managing high-stakes relationships with global airlines, airframers, and civil aviation certification bodies. Leadership Impact: Demonstrated expertise building, mentoring, and leading teams of program managers, technical managers, and cross-functional IPTs across a multi-site or global footprint. Benefits Comprehensive Benefits & Relocation Relocation Package: $10,000 – $20,000 structured relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Healthcare & Wellness: Comprehensive medical coverage, dental/vision reimbursement programs, wellness initiatives, and gym reimbursement. Retirement: 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match. Paid Leave: Robust PTO, paid company holidays, paid parental leave, personal leave, and wedding leave. Protection & Development: Company-paid Life, STD, and LTD insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA); educational assistance programs; and pet insurance.
