Design the Systems That Power Complex Projects We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team working on impactful, complex building projects across multiple sectors. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging design problems, leading discipline work on multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring the next generation of engineers. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and delivery of electrical systems on medium to large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, structural teams, and project managers to ensure technical excellence from concept through construction. What You’ll Do Lead Electrical System Design Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents Ensure electrical designs comply with industry codes and standards Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver integrated solutions Guide Project Execution Lead the electrical engineering scope on medium to large projects Support project planning, scheduling, and technical delivery Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects remain on track Serve as Project Manager on select assignments Maintain Technical Excellence Conduct quality reviews and ensure adherence to QA/QC best practices Deliver designs that are accurate, compliant, and constructible Contribute to technical standards and engineering best practices Mentor & Collaborate Mentor junior engineers and EITs Participate in client meetings and design discussions Provide technical input for proposals and project pursuits What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license 9+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the AEC industry Experience leading electrical engineering work on complex projects Preferred Experience Healthcare or higher education facility design Multidisciplinary engineering project environments Client-facing engineering roles Mentoring or supervising engineering staff Technical Skills Electrical power distribution systems Lighting design and controls Life safety and emergency systems Engineering design and analysis software Knowledge of national and local electrical codes Why Join This Team This is an opportunity to join a firm with over 100 years of engineering leadership where collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence are central to every project.
