We are looking for a Senior ERP Specialist to lead the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) across the company and build the ERP team. You will own the target process design, the implementation roadmap and the integration with production, procurement and finance, and you will build the ERP function as we scale from pilot plant to series production.
This is a broad, high-ownership role. The ERP is the backbone that connects orders, materials, production and money. You will decide how that backbone is built, and you will be accountable for it working on day one of series production.
About us
We're a Germany-based rocketry startup currently in stealth mode, scaling up rapidly to meet the demand for high-performance, reliable, and scalable solid propulsion technologies for space and defense applications. We are building our first production facility in Steyerberg, Lower Saxony, and are applying our knowledge toward serial production of solid rocket motors.
We are working hard to build something truly spectacular.
To thrive here you will need to be comfortable working at pace, with the autonomy to make decisions and execute on them quickly. If you're excited by hard technical challenges and want a role where you will make a real difference each day to the future of the company, we may be the place for you.
At our company, job titles and career progression are earned, not determined by years of experience alone. They reflect the responsibility you take on and the dedication you bring to each project. If you're ready to rise to the challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O across finance, procurement, inventory, production control, sales and project accounting.
Own the target process design (to-be) and run process workshops with finance, operations, engineering, quality and supply chain.
Define the integration architecture between Dynamics 365 F&O, the MES/PLC layer, and third-party systems (e.g., Power BI, CRM, banking, tax).
Lead data migration and master data design: items, bills of materials, routings, batches, suppliers and customers.
Define configuration, security role and authorization concepts, and the internal control requirements of the company.
Manage the ERP project team, implementation partners, budget and timeline.
Establish governance for change control, release management, testing and user training.
Ensure the ERP meets regulatory requirements for regulated energetic materials: batch and lot traceability, stock of hazardous materials, and the records required under German explosives law.
What we are looking for
Several years of experience leading ERP implementations or large process changes, ideally with Dynamics 365 F&O (or Dynamics AX).
Functional expertise in at least two of the following: production control, procurement, inventory and warehouse management, finance (GL, AP, AR), project accounting.
Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, record-to-report).
Experience with integration architectures (APIs, middleware, data management) and with shop-floor or manufacturing execution systems.
The ability to lead cross-functional teams and to communicate with executives and external partners.
A degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration, computer science or a related discipline; equivalent experience may also be relevant.
Desirable experience
Dynamics 365 F&O certification or a Microsoft functional or solution architect certification.
X++ development, Data Management Framework, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus) or Power Platform.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, aerospace or defence).
Knowledge of German commercial and tax requirements (HGB, GoBD) and e-invoicing.
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment where processes are built from scratch.
Working proficiency in German.
Benefits and important information:
We offer top-decile compensation packages, bonuses and meaningful equity, to attract exceptional aerospace talent.
Every employee is awarded stock options in the company, you will directly benefit from your own hard work and success.
Comprehensive relocation support including flights, shipping and visas.
Lunch, dinner and drinks provided everyday
Free access to shared company housing
Please note, we are a fast paced, hyper-scaling startup. You will need to be comfortable working extended hours with high levels of autonomy, ownership, and flexibility, with contracts structured around a 48-hour working week.
We are committed to building an equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, has equal access to opportunity, and can thrive. We welcome different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences—and believe our differences make us stronger.
