Senior Health, Safety & Training Advisor Finniss Lithium Operation, 88 km south of Darwin near Berry Springs Residential DIDO | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Core Lithium has reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. As we power back into production, we're seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Training Advisor to join our site leadership team and help establish the systems, capability and culture that will support the operation for years to come. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent, this is a hands-on operational role supporting both the health and safety and training functions across the Finniss operation. Working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, you'll partner closely with operational leaders to support a safe workplace while also developing workforce capability through training, verification of competency (VOC) assessments and coaching. As part of a small HST team, you'll play an important role in refining existing systems, developing practical processes and supporting the continued growth of the operation as production ramps up. The role provides health and safety support across the processing plant and site operations, while the training component is primarily focused on our owner-operated processing plant and site support teams, working closely with leaders to ensure employees are trained, competent and ready for safe operations. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of health, safety and training across the Finniss operation. Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations. Deliver inductions, facilitate training and complete Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments. Maintain training records, competency matrices and compliance documentation. Assist in developing and improving health, safety and training systems, procedures and standards. Support emergency response preparedness, exercises and capability development. Coach and support leaders to build a strong safety culture and workforce capability. Partner with operational teams to drive continuous improvement across HST performance. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in the field, building relationships and helping operational teams succeed. You'll be equally comfortable facilitating training, supporting investigations and improving systems. You will bring: Experience in a Health, Safety & Training (or HSET) role within mining or heavy industry. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent). Relevant Work Health & Safety qualifications. Experience conducting Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments. Experience facilitating investigations, risk assessments and workplace inspections. Strong understanding of WHS legislation and mining safety practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
