We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Algorithmic Trading Engineer for a permanent, front-office role in Hong Kong. In this position, you will own the architectural vision, design, and scaling of our ultra-low-latency distributed algorithmic trading platform across Asia.

🛠️ Core Requirements

• Java Expertise: Deep production experience with JVM tuning, garbage collection, and non-blocking IO.
• Low-Latency Mastery: Hands-on experience with sub-microsecond execution, Zero-GC architectures, and micro-benchmarking.
• Distributed Systems & Languages: Strong distributed systems design skills; solid experience with Scala (or a proven ability to learn fast).
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with the Linux kernel, PTP, and packet-capture-based latency monitoring.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of equities trading, order lifecycles, FIX messaging, and Asian markets.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Drive core strategic decisions for the design, architecture, and expansion of the regional trading platform.
• Build and optimize highly scalable, ultra-low-latency, and high-availability systems.
• Partner directly with front-office traders and product teams to deliver rapid functionality upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with our global engineering network and manage regulatory/risk alignment.
