Senior Litigation Attorney

About the Role

A growing Idaho law practice is seeking a senior civil litigator to independently manage a full docket. This role handles complex matters across commercial, real estate, construction, and general civil litigation, with opportunities to contribute to the practice's continued growth.

What You'll Do

• Manage a full civil litigation docket independently across the firm's practice areas.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trials.

• Work with firm leadership on case strategy and client matters.

• Provide responsive, substantive communication to clients throughout their cases.

• Explore opportunities to develop practice areas aligned with your experience and interests.

• Meet a minimum billable requirement of 120 hours per month, with quarterly bonuses for hours and revenue above the threshold.

What We're Looking For

• 12 or more years of civil litigation experience, including independent docket management and multiple trials.

• Strong legal writing, motion practice, discovery, deposition, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• A JD from an accredited law school and eligibility for admission to the Idaho State Bar, either currently or through waiver.

• Experience with commercial, real estate, construction, or general civil litigation; business torts, business dissolution, and appellate experience are helpful.

• Ability to work self-directed in a small, growing practice and maintain high-quality client communication.

• Familiarity with Westlaw and Westlaw AI.

• Commitment to a long-term Idaho-based career and willingness to work in the Boise or Eagle area.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $130,000 to $150,000 annually, with quarterly bonuses based on hours and revenue above the monthly billable threshold. OTE (on-target earnings, base plus variable) is $155,000 to $200,000. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid, with in-office work 3 to 4 days per week in Eagle, Idaho.
