Senior Litigation Attorney

About the Role

Join a growing Idaho law practice as a senior civil litigator, independently managing a full docket across commercial, real estate, construction, and general civil matters. This role offers hands-on case ownership and close collaboration with firm leadership.

What You'll Do

• Manage a full civil litigation docket independently across multiple practice areas.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trials.

• Develop case strategy and manage client matters in collaboration with firm leadership.

• Provide clear, substantive, and responsive communication to clients.

• Contribute to the development of practice areas aligned with your expertise and interests.

• Meet a billable-hour expectation of 120 hours per month, with quarterly bonuses available for hours and revenue above the threshold.

What We're Looking For

• At least 12 years of civil litigation experience, including independently managing a docket and trying multiple cases.

• Strong legal writing, motion practice, discovery, deposition, courtroom, and oral advocacy skills.

• Experience with complex commercial, real estate, or construction litigation; business torts, business dissolution, and appeals experience are also relevant.

• A JD from an accredited law school and eligibility for admission to the Idaho State Bar.

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and in a small, growing firm environment.

• Strong client communication and responsiveness, with a commitment to a long-term career in Idaho.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $130,000 to $150,000 annually, with stated OTE of $155,000 to $200,000, including variable compensation. Quarterly bonuses are available for hours and revenue above the billable threshold. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid, with three to four days per week in the office in Eagle or Boise, Idaho.
