Senior Maintenance Technician (mobile equipment / construction / mechanic) - South America

Job Description Your role : You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of construction equipment to ensure availability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities: Perform advanced diagnostics (mechanical, hydraulic, onboard electronics) Troubleshoot complex or critical failures Carry out major repairs (engine, transmission, hydraulic systems) Conduct root cause analysis and propose sustainable solutions Use manufacturer diagnostic tools Ensure proper reporting and follow-up of interventions Act as a technical interface with manufacturer support teams Comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards Requirements Education & experience: Vocational diploma to Associate degree in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or heavy vehicles maintenance Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Experience with construction equipment is highly desirable Valid driver’s license required Technical skills: Strong knowledge of diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read technical schematics Proficiency with diagnostic tools Soft skills: Autonomous and detail-oriented Strong customer service mindset Team player Ability to work in field conditions Benefits Housing allowance, transport allowance, relocation allowance, medical insurance.
