Your Mission As Senior Manager of Revenue Systems & Accounts Receivable, you will play a critical role in the Activision Blizzard controllership as well as the worldwide Finance Team. Overall, the responsibility of this role is to (1) Manage execution of the accounting process for our revenue accounting system (2) Collaborate with revenue team members and IT to identify areas for implementing system enhancements or tools to drive automation and simplification (3) partner with business and finance teams to stay up to date on new developments within the business that can have down stream impacts on our revenue system, and (4) Manage accounts receivable team. You will work closely to partner with the business units across the company to ensure a deep understanding of our business activities associated with games in development, and address accounting and finance-related issues. You will have interaction and insights into Business Unit finance teams. What you bring to the table Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Manage the full accounting close process for the revenue accounting system, including review and maintenance of system configurations prepared by direct report, reviewing related reconciliations, and ensuring all activities meet SOX compliance requirements. Lead testing of revenue system upgrades and enhancements Support system integration projects and testing for enhancements to ERP and existing system tools as necessary for areas of responsibility Identify and lead automation of manual processes within the revenue accounting team Lead and develop a multi-level team, including both direct and indirect reports Support internal and external audit process and requests as needed for areas of responsibility Minimum Requirements Experience B.A./B.S. in Accounting Minimum of 7 years of professional accounting, with experience in revenue recognition Previous working experience managing system data flows and processing of high volume of transaction data Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Strong knowledge of revenue recognition under US GAAP Experience in managing and analyzing large data sets CPA preferred but not required Knowledge & Skills Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results and relationships between accounts and data Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks Great teammate with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing a team Strong communication Key Attributes Ability to work within tight deadlines Self-motivated and eager to learn Ability to problem solve and collaborate Extra Points Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite or similar ERP Experience with reporting tools such as Looker, Power BI and Hyperion Experience with Zuora Revenue Recognition software Experience with revenue recognition in the gaming industry Our World Activision Blizzard, Inc., is one of the world's largest and most successful interactive entertainment companies and is at the intersection of media, technology and entertainment. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
