We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture - Manufacturing & Plant Operations to lead architecture for our Manufacturing and Plant Operations Functioning within a federated Enterprise Architecture framework, you will be responsible for the architecture supporting production, control, storage, and OT/IT integration. You will provide decision-ready builds that enable manufacturing delivery teams to complete tasks successfully.
What you will be doing:
- Architecting manufacturing execution system capabilities across TrakSYS, Wonderware, and custom platforms.
- Designing control-system integrations using OPC technologies, Kepware, Wonderware DAS, RSLinx, and industrial historians.
- Defining production quality, compliance, traceability, genealogy, scheduling, sequencing, and overall equipment effectiveness capabilities.
- Developing Industrial Internet of Things integration patterns that connect plant equipment, manufacturing platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Directing integrations between plant-floor systems, warehouse management platforms, and SAP related to production confirmations, handling goods movements, and inventory management.
- Owning high-level designs and cross-platform integration patterns throughout the Define and Design phases of the architecture lifecycle.
- Leading vendor evaluations, product selections, proofs of concept, and solution assessments for alignment with enterprise standards and technology roadmaps.
- Preparing Architecture Review Board submissions, resolving findings, conducting post-implementation reviews, and supporting the transition from solution design through build and run.
We want you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of information technology experience, including 5+ years as a solution architect or technical architect.
- Hands-on architecture experience with manufacturing execution platforms like TrakSYS, Wonderware, or other similar manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of control-system and OT integration using OPC, Kepware, Wonderware DAS, RSLinx, and industrial historian technologies.
- Experience integrating plant systems with SAP for production confirmations, goods movements, inventory, and related manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of Industrial Internet of Things architecture, OT/IT convergence, warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder, and plant-floor security requirements.
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including landing zones, platform-as-a-service capabilities, identity services, cloud solution blueprinting, and API-led integration using Azure API Management or an integration platform as a service solution.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, experience operating within a federated Enterprise Architecture model, and strong communication and partner leadership skills.
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $132,500.00 - $202,100.00.
