As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Senior Manual QA Tester to join our Web Development team. Your role at HFM: Test Planning & Execution: Develop, organize, and execute detailed test plans and test cases using TestRail to ensure web applications meet specified requirements and quality standards. Defect & Ticket Management: Identify, document, and track software defects and tasks in JIRA, collaborating closely with developers to ensure prompt issue resolution. AI-Assisted QA Workflow: Leverage emerging AI tools (e.g., TestRail AI test case generation, AI-driven synthetic test data generation) to optimize test design, increase edge-case coverage, and accelerate QA cycles. Cross-Browser & Device Compatibility: Perform thorough testing across various browsers and mobile view ports to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience. UI/UX Validation: Assess the usability and visual aspects of web applications (User Interface and User Experience validation) to ensure they align with design specifications. Automation Awareness: Maintain a basic understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks to assist in long-term QA strategies. Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments, serving as a quality advocate throughout sprint lifecycles. Requirements BA/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years’ experience in manual testing of web applications, with a strong grasp of end-to-end software QA methodologies, processes, and standards. Core Tooling: Hands-on experience using JIRA for ticket tracking/defect lifecycles and TestRail for test suite management and execution. AI Tool Familiarity: Openness or hands-on experience using AI capabilities to assist with test scenario drafting, edge-case generation, or test data creation. Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to inspect elements and isolate front-end defects. Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to developers and product owners. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, mentor team members, and adapt smoothly to shifting priorities.
