About the Role
Join an applied AI team building agent systems for financial advisors and their clients. You will own the agent platform end to end, helping make complex, multi-step work reliable and useful in real-world financial services.
What You'll Do
Build agents that plan and complete multi-step tasks using code execution, web search, retrieval, and other tools.
Develop ambient agents that can triage email, process meetings, draft communications, and surface timely actions.
Design the orchestration layer connecting language models, context, tools, retrieval, and business logic.
Create generative user interfaces and human-in-the-loop experiences that support collaboration between agents and advisors.
Build evaluation infrastructure for both precise financial data tasks and judgment-based work.
Develop memory systems that retrieve relevant client context and adapt to preferences over time.
What We're Looking For
Four to ten years of full-stack or backend software engineering experience, including building LLM-powered agent systems.
Production experience with LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and prompt engineering.
Strong software engineering fundamentals in APIs, data modeling, and system design.
Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, vector databases, and agent frameworks.
Experience shipping evaluation infrastructure for non-deterministic AI systems, and ideally generative UI or human-in-the-loop interfaces.
A computer science degree or equivalent technical background, plus experience building products in a fast-paced startup environment.

Base salary: $200,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
