Senior Planner

ConsultANZ is looking for experienced Senior Planners to join our client’s team on major civil infrastructure projects across Auckland, New Zealand.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work on technically complex infrastructure projects, collaborating with experienced project delivery teams from leading civil engineering contractors.

Main Duties

• Lead and support project planning, programming, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or Candy CCS.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare programme updates, cost reports, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with engineering, commercial, procurement, and site teams.
• Manage contractual requirements and project controls.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualification

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, planning/programming, or civil infrastructure.
• Strong technical civil background, ideally in bridges, concrete works, piling, marine, or other complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience across planning/programming, cost reporting, procurement, and contract management.
• Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Candy CCS is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
