About the role

As the first Platform Security Engineer, you will design and operate the security infrastructure for the company's AI platform. This role involves creating secure systems, developing security tooling, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure robust security measures for enterprise customers.

Your work will directly impact the company's ability to secure high-value deals with security-conscious enterprises by building a secure platform that supports AI model serving and customer data isolation.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement secure, multi-tenant infrastructure for AI model serving
• Develop "golden paths" for security, including service templates and automation
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and GitOps best practices
• Enhance platforms for alerting detection, secrets management, and IAM
• Collaborate with teams to meet compliance requirements like SOC 2 and GDPR
• Participate in security on-call and improve incident response processes

The Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years in production infrastructure with a focus on security
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform or AWS
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Experience with Kubernetes security and observability tools

Even Better

• Experience as an early or founding platform/security engineer
• Familiarity with enterprise compliance and security tooling
