Senior Platform Security Engineer

About the Role

Build and operate security infrastructure for an enterprise AI platform. As the first dedicated engineer at the intersection of platform and security, you will create secure foundations and automation that help engineering teams ship reliably and meet enterprise requirements.

What You'll Do

• Design secure, multi-tenant infrastructure that isolates customer data while supporting efficient AI model serving.

• Create secure service templates, libraries, Terraform policies, and automation that make new services production-ready by default.

• Own infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, including reusable modules and policy-as-code.

• Improve alerting, detection, secrets management, IAM, and automated remediation, integrating these capabilities into CI/CD and developer workflows.

• Work with security, infrastructure, and product engineering teams to turn compliance requirements into automated technical controls.

• Participate in security on-call and improve operational practices through runbooks and incident learnings.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, with experience operating production systems.

• Strong knowledge of GCP and/or AWS, including networking, IAM, compute, and security services.

• Hands-on production experience with Terraform and Kubernetes, plus infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices.

• Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or another systems-oriented language, and experience building developer tools and automation.

• Experience with secure container deployment, service mesh, Kubernetes security, observability, and incident response.

• Infrastructure or application security experience, or a strong interest in deepening your security expertise.

• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR requirements, and applying AI-assisted development tools is beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $200,000 to $330,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
