Show job description

Do you want to help a technology-powered logistics company become fully AI-native? And do you want to own product areas end to end, deciding where AI does the work and how good its output needs to be? Then this might be the job for you! Read more below or apply via the “Apply” button!

About Shypple

Shypple makes shipping simple. We combine an easy-to-use platform with expert services to take the hassle out of a traditionally complex industry. Our platform is the central workspace for our customers, their suppliers and customers, our partners and our internal service teams. It gives real-time visibility on every shipment and brings booking, planning, delivery and collaboration with logistics partners together in one place.

We believe the best way to change a traditional industry is a smartly built system combined with a high-quality customer experience.

Your role

Our Product & Development team builds and evolves our platform, and is now taking it a step further: Shypple is working towards becoming fully AI-native, making every workflow and product touchpoint AI-first.

You lead a product area as the product leader of a cross-functional agile team, working with developers, UX designers, analysts and AI engineers, and you report to our Chief Product Officer. You own the strategy, the roadmap and the outcome, end to end. You drive the investments in your area and are accountable for the results. You will:

  • set the vision and roadmap for your product areas, based on customer research and market insight;

  • work with operations, sales, finance and customers to find the problems worth solving, and frame them in data so that engineering and data teams can pick them up and measure success;

  • own delivery from idea to daily use: you are accountable for the plan, the scope, the quality and the result, not only the date;

  • apply AI where AI makes sense, set the quality bar for AI output and the systems to monitor it;

  • help shape how Shypple does product management as an AI-native company: set standards, share what works and coach your colleagues;

What makes Shypple unique?

At Shypple, you’ll join a multicultural, collaborative team with a flat hierarchy where teamwork is key. We thrive on innovation, constantly reimagining logistics with AI and digital solutions. Your work has a global impact, directly shaping how businesses manage their supply chains. We offer autonomy and ownership, and a healthy work-life balance with hybrid work, team activities and a supportive culture.

You’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including AI-powered products taken into production. Fewer years but already working at senior level? We’d like to hear from you.

  • A track record of owning outcomes, not just shipping features: you can show what your products delivered in adoption, cost savings or revenue.

  • Hands-on fluency with current AI models, agents and tools. You’ve built and tested a prototype yourself, and you can explain to a non-technical audience what AI does well, where it fails and what the risks are.

  • Strong customer discovery and problem framing, and a data-driven way of working.

  • The ability to persuade and align people without formal authority, from team to leadership level.

  • Logistics experience is a plus, not a must.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher, and fluent English.

Location
This is a hybrid role in Rotterdam, with teams in the office 2 to 3 days a week. We’re open to candidates who currently live in the EU and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands and be onsite 2 to 3 days a week. If you need a work permit to work in the Netherlands, we can sponsor it. If you’re moving to the Netherlands, we offer a relocation package.

You get

  • Autonomy and ownership of product areas;

  • A great working environment with a talented team who work together for extraordinary success;

  • Good secondary benefits (e.g. 25 vacation days, pension contribution, in-office breakfast, employee stock option plan);

  • The opportunity to be a part of a great adventure where you can grow, develop, and get the best out of yourself, including a yearly budget for personal development.

Interested?

You can apply by clicking on the ‘apply now’ button on our website. You will hear from us within one week. If your profile matches what we are looking for, we’ll invite you to the first round and map out the next steps (please note: a take-home assignment will be part of the process).
