On-site (San Francisco, CA) | $180K to $210K PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR LINKEDIN TO BE CONSIDERED!
About the company
A Series A AI company that builds agentic AI for community banks and credit unions across the US, covering voice, digital, and employee-assisted channels on one platform. It is already cash-flow positive, serves hundreds of financial institutions, and its products reach millions of consumers.
The company raised to grow product, engineering, and go-to-market as demand from financial services keeps climbing, and it is now moving into contact center automation and AI-driven consumer banking.
The role You'll own one subdomain of the company's agentic AI platform from start to finish: what gets built, in what order, and whether it actually works after it ships. You'll report to the VP of Product, work directly with the CEO, and sit alongside a small group of senior PMs.
Most days you'll be with senior engineers working through technical tradeoffs together rather than writing tickets and handing them off. You'll also mentor a mid-level PM in your area, and the seat is a clear path toward a domain-level or principal PM role. What you'll do
- Own the outcomes and metrics for your subdomain, not just the list of features that ship
- Build, sequence, and defend your area's roadmap within the direction product leadership sets
- Work with senior engineers nearly every day on tradeoffs across conversational, voice, and agentic AI systems
- Run discovery with bank and credit union customers and internal stakeholders, then turn what you hear into a plan you'll stand behind
- Help shape new product lines as the company expands into contact center automation and AI-driven consumer banking
- Mentor the mid-level PM working in your area
What you must bring
- 3+ years of experience as a product manager
- A track record of owning a product or subdomain end to end, including the roadmap and the results, with real autonomy (at a startup or a large tech company)
- Experience building or shipping conversational AI, contact center software (CCaaS), or other complex AI products
- Hands-on experience working through technical tradeoffs with engineers, whether as a technical PM, a former engineer, or on a deeply technical product
- A daily AI-native workflow, such as building prototypes with Claude, Cursor, or similar tools
- A bachelor's degree
- The habit of reasoning from first principles and moving work forward without heavy direction
- Comfort working on-site five days a week in San Francisco
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B software, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry
- Prior software engineering experience or a CS degree
- Startup experience
Compensation & logistics
- $180K to $210K base salary plus competitive equity
- Benefits include fully paid health, dental, and vision coverage, daily meals, and access to enterprise AI tools
- Relocation support available
- On-site five days a week in San Francisco, CA
- Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers
This isn't the right fit if
- You come from engineering but haven't shown product sense, such as identifying user needs or explaining product tradeoffs
- Your PM experience at a large company meant owning one piece of a spec or working mostly under senior guidance
- Your history shows multiple short stints in a row
