The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to join a large manufacturing operation in the Albuquerque area.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment supporting a strong production backlog and long-term demand. The operation involves heavy fabrication, welding, assembly, and industrial finishing, and we are looking for production leaders who are comfortable working directly with frontline employees to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

The Senior Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading employees, meeting production schedules, maintaining safety and quality standards, resolving operational issues, and developing the people within their assigned area.

What You'll Do

  • Lead production employees in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and schedule requirements.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and maintain a strong presence on the production floor.
  • Coach, develop, and support frontline employees.
  • Identify production obstacles and work with employees and other departments to resolve them.
  • Monitor workflow and help ensure production remains on schedule.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure established procedures are followed.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Support continuous improvement and increased manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other production leaders and departments to meet operational goals.
  • Provide leadership during periods of high production demand and overtime.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience achieving production results through the leadership of manufacturing employees.
  • Experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, heavy manufacturing, or similarly complex manufacturing operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a demanding, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as production needs require.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with strong manufacturing leadership experience.

Schedule

This is an onsite, multi-shift manufacturing operation. Candidates should be comfortable working the shift required for their assigned production area and providing additional coverage when production demands require it.

Compensation & Benefits

$80,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, with full benefits.
