Senior Project Engineer - Multi-Level Car Park

A national contractor with a strong and growing pipeline of road, rail, bridge and civil infrastructure work across South East Queensland is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major transport project on the Sunshine Coast. You'll lead delivery of a new multi-level car park in a live operating environment, keeping access safe for users, adjacent operations and construction traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery of the car park structure, from demolition and earthworks through to structures, services and finishes
• Plan staging that keeps pedestrian, vehicle, emergency and operational access safe throughout construction
• Run design reviews, constructability workshops, temporary works coordination and RFI close-out
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontractor performance and program recovery
• Coordinate testing, finishing works, operational readiness and handover

Essential

• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction, or equivalent experience
• Senior project engineering experience delivering concrete structures, ideally multi-level car parks or similar building structures
• Strong FRP background (formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours), including managing FRP subcontractors or self-perform crews
• Tier 1 or strong tier 2 contractor background
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence
• Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies

Desirable

• Post-tensioned or precast concrete experience
• Experience working next to live rail or operational public assets
