This is a front-line programme leadership role with a fast-growing fibre infrastructure specialist whose work sits behind some of Europe's biggest AI and cloud compute builds. You'd be running major fibre and connectivity programmes inside live hyperscale facilities: real scale, real pace, and a client base that keeps coming back.

The role

You'll own delivery end to end across several concurrent programmes: from the point sales hands over, through planning, execution and commercial close-out. It's a client-facing position with genuine P&L accountability, leading multi-disciplinary crews and subcontractors around the clock. Expect to spend time on the data hall floor making decisions in real time, not just watching dashboards.

What your week looks like

• Running concurrent large-scale fibre and connectivity programmes for hyperscale and enterprise customers
• Owning budgets, margins, forecasts and change control across your portfolio
• Acting as the senior client contact: governance meetings, service reviews, straight answers
• Directing engineers, coordinators and third-party partners across day and night shifts
• Managing risk, method statements and safety standards in live critical environments
• Feeding into bids and solution designs so what gets sold can actually be built
• Coaching PMs and site leads as the team grows

What you'll bring

• A solid track record running data centre, fibre or critical-infrastructure programmes at scale
• Commercial fluency: you've owned P&L, forecasting and margin on major projects
• Working knowledge of modern data centre network builds (fibre-dense fabrics, structured cabling, high-performance compute environments)
• Confidence leading client relationships under demanding SLAs
• A recognised PM toolkit (PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent)
• Willingness to travel internationally when programmes need you

Nice to have

• IOSH or similar safety qualification
• First aid certificate
