Senior Quality Assurance Manager (QA/QC)

Client-Side Senior QA/QC Manager – All Disciplines | Data Centre | Norway

We are partnering with a specialist data centre delivery firm to appoint a QA/QC Manager within their client-side team, representing the owner on a large-scale data centre programme in Norway. Data centre experience is essential; applications without it will not be considered.

The Role

Sitting on the client side, you will provide independent quality assurance and oversight of the main contractor and trade packages across all disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls), protecting the owner's interests from design through to handover.

• Define the client's quality assurance strategy and requirements for the programme
• Review and approve contractor Quality Management Plans, ITPs, and method statements
• Carry out surveillance audits of contractor QA/QC systems and site works
• Attend witness and hold points on behalf of the client
• Challenge and track contractor NCRs through root cause analysis to close-out
• Assure L1–L5 commissioning documentation and FDV/O&M handover completeness
• Report contractor quality performance and risks to client leadership

Requirements

• 8+ years QA/QC experience, with essential client-side, owner's rep, or PMC background
• Minimum 4 years' QA/QC experience on data centre projects
• Proven track record overseeing and auditing contractors, not solely delivering contractor QA
• Multi-discipline knowledge: M&E, HV/LV, UPS, HVAC, BMS, civils/structures
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent)
• Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification
• Familiarity with NS-EN standards and TEK17 advantageous
• Experience with digital QA platforms (Procore, Dalux, ACC)
• Fluent English; Norwegian/Scandinavian language a plus
