Senior SAP TM Architect (Full Relocation Support)

An opportunity to shape the future of global transportation management within a major international manufacturing business.

We are partnering with a large global manufacturing organisation in the Zurich area as they embark on a significant global SAP S/4HANA transformation.

They are looking for an experienced SAP TM Solution Architect to take a leading role in defining and shaping the global Transportation Management solution, whilst also taking on project management and delivery responsibilities as part of this major transformation.

This is a hybrid architecture and delivery leadership position, with approximately 70% focused on SAP TM architecture and solution design and 30% on project management and delivery coordination.

This is not a BAU support role. It's an opportunity to own the architectural direction of SAP TM, influence global supply chain processes and take an active role in driving delivery across one of the organisation's most important strategic technology programmes.

The Role:

• Global transformation ownership: Define and shape the target-state SAP TM architecture as part of a major international S/4HANA programme.
• Complex manufacturing environment: Work across a sophisticated global supply chain, with complex transportation, logistics and freight management requirements.
• Architectural leadership: Take ownership of key design decisions, drive solution governance and challenge implementation partners and system integrators.
• Project management responsibility (30%): Coordinate project activities, manage milestones and dependencies, track deliverables, manage risks and issues, and ensure alignment across business and technical teams.
• Business impact: Influence how transportation management operates across multiple countries, regions and business units.
• Full relocation support: Comprehensive relocation assistance will be provided to support your move to the Zurich area, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates currently based elsewhere in Europe.
• Strategic visibility: Work closely with senior business stakeholders, enterprise architects and global programme leadership.

The Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP TM Architect or Senior SAP TM Solution Architect.
• Strong SAP TM expertise, ideally within an S/4HANA transformation environment.
• Experience designing and delivering global SAP TM solutions and templates.
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, freight management and settlement.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with S/4HANA and wider supply chain processes.
• A background in large-scale manufacturing, industrial, automotive or similarly complex international environments.
• Project management or workstream leadership experience, ideally within large-scale SAP transformation programmes.
• The ability to manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.
• The confidence and credibility to operate at architectural level, influence senior stakeholders and drive design decisions.
• Previous experience working with global system integrators and large transformation programmes.
