Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a fintech engineering team building an AI-enabled platform for mortgage servicing. You will help develop reliable backend systems and deliver product features that support complex financial workflows.

What You'll Do

• Own software features from design through implementation and production delivery.

• Build and scale backend systems supporting high-volume mortgage transactions.

• Use AI coding tools in your development workflow while reviewing and validating generated code.

• Design infrastructure that addresses complex federal, state, and agency regulations.

• Collaborate with product and platform or infrastructure teams, depending on team placement.

What We're Looking For

• Three to ten years of backend-leaning software engineering experience, with a progression appropriate to your experience.

• Strong data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals, including the ability to code solutions without AI assistance.

• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and building products at high-growth software companies.

• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor in daily development.

• Experience with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.

• A computer science degree or equivalent strong computer science foundation.

• Experience in fintech or mortgage servicing is relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $210,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Remote within the United States, with San Francisco as the primary location.
