Join the engineering team at a consumer gaming company and take ownership of backend systems that support the product and its growth. You will build features for players, solve complex data-driven challenges, and help the team improve how it ships software.
What You'll Do
Build and launch consumer-facing backend features that support measurable business goals.
Develop data-driven systems for challenges such as matchmaking and fraud prevention.
Improve engineering processes, including CI/CD pipelines and experimentation platforms, so the team can deliver effectively as it grows.
Take projects from problem definition through delivery, working with limited direction and seeking opportunities to expand your impact.
What We're Looking For
Five to eight years of backend software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Go, or the ability and motivation to ramp up quickly; experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform is relevant.
Experience owning and shipping consumer-facing backend features with measurable impact.
Background in a fast-growing startup or an engineering environment with a high bar, and comfort working with autonomy.
Experience with data-driven products or systems, such as matchmaking, fraud prevention, or recommendation engines.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $200,000 to $400,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
