Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure

About the Role

Join a senior platform engineering team at a growth-stage identity security company. You will build and own infrastructure systems that support a secure, reliable platform for large enterprises, while helping product engineers deliver improvements quickly.

What You'll Do

• Improve the stability, security, scalability, and performance of production platform infrastructure.

• Own critical infrastructure components and make architectural decisions with significant autonomy.

• Build tools, systems, and engineering practices that help product engineers ship reliable software efficiently.

• Partner with engineering, product, and company leadership on roadmap and architecture discussions.

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand product feedback and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

• Develop and improve engineering practices and processes across the platform team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience building distributed systems, ideally for enterprise-scale traffic or multi-tenant SaaS.

• Experience on a platform or infrastructure team building software services and systems, rather than focusing only on infrastructure operations.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including backend development in Go or a comparable systems language.

• Production experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka, plus experience building internal developer tools or platforms.

• Ability to design systems for large distributed environments and contribute to architecture decisions.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range is $160,000 to $250,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.
